Sr.Sales Manager reports to Country General Manager.

The position holder is responsible for the national sales revenue and market share, and closely works with other functional heads to lead the organizational excellence.  


Strategic role :

  • Manage and develop the regional sales organization and to ensure that individual, team, business unit and entire business performance measurement objectives are met.
  • Develop & maintain procedures as required to align Waters Korea sales operations with the regional and global sales organization and to implement global support initiatives.
  • Establish clear strategies and tactical plans for sales in co-operation with marketing team

People Management role:

  • In accordance with Waters performance management system provide performance management, setting goals and development review for direct reports.
  • Promote a creative and willing mind-set

Operational role:

  • Enhance customer satisfaction level with Waters by providing products and services through exceeding customer expectations, follow-up, and positive problem resolutions for critical account escalations

Financial role:

  • Establish and achieve an annual sales and profit plan in agreement with the management.
  • Develop, implement and monitor of the sales plan to meet agreed sales target and budget within the designated territories.
  • Managing the sales organization in the assigned region. Develop sales plan and lead the sales teams to meet and/or exceed sales targets.




  • Bachelor degree in Chemistry or Science related, MBA preferred
  • Minimum 15 years in Sales Management position in multinational environment
  • Instrument sales experience must
  • Experience in using or selling HPLC/MS would be advantageous
  • Result-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive with strong leadership and able to inspire and motivate staff
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Leadership in building teamwork and collaboration with other functions
  • Customer & action oriented
  • High level integrity and transparency
