The Training Development & Operations Specialist will lead all aspects of scheduling, preparation, delivery, and administration of our Asia Pacific courses to ensure an outcome of high-quality impactful training for Waters services personnel in support of Waters delivering world-renowned services.


  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Asia-HQ Global Services training center. Schedule courses, coordinate activities, and manage budget.
  • Assess service training requirements for new and revised courses. Identify intended audiences, perform task analyses, and define learning objectives. Contribute to creation of training plans.
  • Provide oversight for new training courses, and implement delivery strategies to support new products.
  • Identify opportunities to maximize training efficiency and effectiveness. Lead improvement initiatives.
  • Work with regional training centers to standardize delivery practices and processes.
  • Ensure compliance to Waters Quality Systems, Good Laboratory Practices, and Environmental Health & Safety standards within classrooms and laboratories.
  • Represent Global Services Education by participating on Waters Global Services project teams.


  • BS/BSc or higher in science, education, or business.
  • Significant experience delivering technical training courses. Prior experience managing training and developing courses is beneficial.
  • Prior experience working within the pharmaceutical, clinical, fine chemical, and food/environmental industry is preferred.
  • Ability to influence non-direct reports and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin, written and spoken.
